Really solid choice for ramen in the area. I came with a friend for dinner and there was no wait for the two of us at around 6 PM on a weeknight. Miso ramen with classic thin noodles and soft-boiled egg (medium spicy) was great, and the gyoza was fantastic. 4.5 stars.

Loved this place! Super affordable and fast. Service is good but can get really slow when it is super busy. Definitely not enough people working there. There wasn't anything I didn't like on the menu. Definitely have to get the classic ramen with a bit of spice. I made sure to add the soft boiled egg. The chashu pork donburi was delicious and I put some of the rice in the soup which is super good. The gyoza was good and a good start. The drinks that are paired with it are also super cheap and a great way to add to your meal. Would definitely go back but they do not take reservations, it is first come first serve.

When I was recommended this place, I thought I never heard of this place...until I remembered my friend who recommended this place to me in Seattle said it was the best ramen she ever had. So I guess I have to try it. The first time I've been to a place to choose your noodle and broth thickness. I wanted the tomato ramen but they didn't have :C so I went with classic ramen with thick noodles and extra chashu, standard everything, medium spice, and of course pickled vegetables. The noodles aren't very thick at all, can barely tell between thick and my party getting the thin. I was expecting udon-thickness. But it was still so delicious. Great value! Can't find this price for ramen in NYC. This seating quantity is not bad for West Village. We still had to wait some time on a Saturday for party of 4. Next time I will be back for the tomato ramen!

AMAZING!!! Small place, about 30 seats. Pros: - sizable portions - customizable! You are given a paper menu and you circle your order preferences and add whatever toppings you want - little human interaction which is great for the introverts - flavorful gyoza - fair price (about $50 for two ramens & gyoza) areas of improvement - none, very yummy and will be going back

This is one of the relatively more affordable ramen places in the West village! It's a cute place, but wish they were more staffed as it takes a while to flag a waitress down and we waited 15 minutes for them to take my card. They have vegan and meat options - and I always get the shio ramen with an extra egg, and a draft beer on the side! Broth is pretty good and they let you customize everything - including the firmness and type of ramen noodle as well as the spices for the broth. Their apps including the gyoza are all pretty good too.

Very solid ramen in Manhattan - 9/10. I love how customizable the ramen is from the choice of broth to the thickness and texture of the noodles. Ordering is very easy here as you fill out a piece of paper with your choices and customizations. Also, draft beer for less than $5! I went with the classic miso broth with added spice, egg, seaweed, and have to go with the extra chashu pork. Overall very pleased. I also got to try out the negi-goma broth which I will order next time. Fun note - This restaurant that originated in Japan also has a location in Brooklyn, as well as locations in Australia and Toronto.

A full place of smiling people, with a moderate size waiting line and a rapid turnover can only tell you this was the right place to go for dinner. A local friend had recommended for us to eat here and god it was worth it. The menu was simple and we went for the traditional and the miso ramen to which we added a boiled egg and extra spice for a kick. It was delicious and the portions were ideal! Next time I'd probably try it with thicker noodles, but don't regret anything on this first visit. The place is tight, simple, so don't look forward to staying for long or having an after dinner conversation.
